Phase one of Marietta Walk is platted for 58 townhomes and 18 single-family detached homes. Phase two is approved for construction of 45 condominiums and 50,000 square feet of office and retail space in two mixed-use buildings located along Powder Springs Street.
View site plan (final plat)
After purchasing the former public housing site from the Marietta Housing Authority, the city of Marietta rezoned the property for mixed-use development and sold land to a Metro-area developer through a request for proposals. Before the economic downturn site plans were approved and lots were developed for single-family and townhome construction. Plans have not yet been submitted for commercial development of parcels fronting Powder Springs Road, which is included in a commercial corridor design overlay district.
