Volunteers of all ages are invited to help Marietta Tree Keepers plant trees at the YWCA of Northwest Georgia.

Volunteers can enjoy donuts and beverages before digging in to work and are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. Tools will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their favorite outdoor gloves and tools if they like.

The annual Daddy Daughter Dance is one of Marietta Parks, Recreation and Facilities' most popular events. The event is open to girls ages 5 to 12 and their fathers or another special man in their life.

The afternoon is filled with dancing, games and activities. Dress is semiformal to formal, and each year the dance has a different theme.

Location: The Mansour Center, 995 Roswell Street, NE, Marietta, GA 30060

Cost: $30 per couple ($5 each additional daughter)
