MARIETTA – The Marietta Fire Museum, located at 112 Haynes Street, Marietta, GA, is now officially re-open after a months long renovation project which saw a new detailed timeline installed, new display cases, and the introduction of a newly restored Chief’s vehicle, a 1962 Ford Falcon.

The Marietta Fire Museum is open Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm and on Saturday and Sundays by appointment. The museum is always free to those who attend but there is a donation box for those who would like to donate to future projects. All tours are self-guided, but Marietta firefighter group led tours can be requested. All group tours must be scheduled 72 hours in advance and are subject to availability. For guided tours, please use the Museum Request link or call 770-794-5466 at least 72 hours in advance.

The Marietta Fire Museum has many items on display used by the Marietta Fire Department dating back to the 1800s. The museum has fire service clothing, equipment and antique apparatus. Some items in the museum are on loan from private collectors, but most are original equipment purchased by the citizens of Marietta for use by the Marietta Fire Department.
