Watering Restrictions Eased

The consistent and significant rainfall this spring and summer has replenished  stream flows and reservoir levels in the Lake Lanier/ Chattahoochee River system.  The abundant rainfall has finally reached a level to compensate for last year's extreme rain deficit.  Drought response levels have been reduced to level 1 which eases outdoor watering restrictions. Outdoor watering may resume to daily use but landscape watering should still be limited to the hours between 4 pm at to 10 am.   Watering only during these hours minimizes water waste due to evaporation.  Thank you for your support during the months of the drought and for making Marietta great!
