Want to reduce your winter heating costs?

Although it make seem counter intuitive, the sun can be a good source of heat during the winter. Open curtains, blinds and shades on your south-facing windows to allow sunlight to naturally heat your home during daytime hours.  When the sun goes down, be sure to close the curtains to avoid any chill effect which could come from the windows.
