MARIETTA – Due to a change in policy for recycling processing centers across the region, independent contractors no longer accept glass recycling from the City of Marietta’s Sanitation Services Division.

As a friendly reminder, effective June 1, 2016, glass was no longer accepted as part of the City of Marietta’s recycling program. Processing facilities throughout the region have ordered all glass be removed from the recycling streams due to a variety of reasons. For a full and detailed list of recyclable and non-recyclable materials provided directly from the City’s recycling vendor, please click here.

Residents are still able to take their own glass recycling to the RockTenn Company Recycling Center, located at 1775 County Services Parkway, Marietta, GA 30008, for more information, please visit their website. We appreciate your understanding and support as the City continues to provide a recycling program to the citizens of Marietta.
